If you can’t make the trip to Birmingham to view the new 3D cube in person,I’ve made a video of the painting below.
Ever since I found a can of Volkswagen Orange Dupli Colour in my father’s shed, I’ve had a fascination with aerosol paint. The paint formula may change, but the principle is still the same. An actuator releases the paint under varying degrees of pressure over a surface, usually hovering off the same surface at varying degrees of speed and distance.
The wooden cube is now complete, ready to fill with my 3D artwork for the opening on Monday 15th February at the Boxxed venue (104-105 Floodgate Street, Birmingham B5 5SR).
Some of you may remember the cube I made, from last year. Version 1.2 is being built in a few weeks time.
Painted a huge version of the new logo in Birmingham, next to Energ.

Whilst in the midlands I had to drop something with me muckers.
This piece was painted at an event called ‘WRECKWIEM’ in November 1996. It was held at a superclub near Milton Keynes called The Sanctuary.
