Size: 10 sheets of A3

Media: marker pen, paper

I decided to produce something for the christmas season that employed a similar papercraft to the SQUAROSOL that i produced for Fused magazine some time ago.

I deliberately used photocopy paper and spent a considerable time designing the flat, folded out version in order that they all shared the same proportion and that they stood up. There were a few prototypes but the sole intention was to allow customisation or colouring. This tradition was unearthed during the development, to my surprise. It was an early Christmas tradition in parts of the world for the poorer people to buy card nativity scenes and then for the children to decorate them with colour and glitter.

The scenes are available from StellaDore.com for purchase.
