I was asked to convert an existing flyer into a flyer for a new venture by Birmingham's Breakfest. They are 4 DJs who play oldschool hip-hop and have done for donkeys now. The logo was altered and the whole artwork was laser printed, folded, had coffee poured over it and then I stepped all over it in the garden. After it had dried on a radiator for a few hours, i then re-scanned the artwork.

The characters were drawn from only one photograph and are stylised versions of the real DJs. They were given 'powers' that is signified by the red/yellow faded accessories. Mushroom has audio coming from an explosion, Sparra works from flight and speed, IMD has gadget and signalling powers and Weetamix is a scientist.
