I decended on a small town in Wales under summon from a friend who had bought a shop at the foot of Snowdon. My task was 'to give it my all' by painting a complete building to alert the visitors (and the wonderful locals) about the changes that had occurred.
My friend who owned the shop, David Williams, had installed an internet cafe, married a lovely lady by the name of Tara, and had a beautiful baby girl called Maisy Peris.
The building took around 3 weeks to paint, although the visit was around 10 weeks. There wouldn't be a week without a dry cloud in the sky, and initially we had used a scaffolding tower for the side flank of the shop, although that was unfeasible by the time we came to the front, near the road.
I even painted the blinds for inside the front windows of the shop to maintain the fluidity of the design. Down the road it had took 2 people, 3 weeks to paint one gable end... Most of the work was improvised from a basic sketch and then work progressed with conversations and inspirations from the locals, the surrounding beauty and the monkey milk...
