Location: Birmingham flagship store in Bull Ring

Selfridges store in Birmingham is a veritable feast on the eyes and the sensations... They approached me during their first anniversary in the Bull Ring to decorate their firt floor walls.

This is the largest commission ever completed (aside the Castle Gift Shop in Snowdonia). None of the walls are flat, straight or even smooth. Other considerations were that I could only paint during the closing hours. Each wall was completed at a break-neck speed of 24 hours each.

The designs were fully approved from visuals provided as were the colour scheme. The pink and yellow (and even dark blue - which is hard to make out) are, infact coporate colours for the Birmingham store itself. They still grace the walls to this day. As you enter the store from the ground level in the Bull Ring and pass the food section, they are infront and to the left - you can't miss them!
