For the last few months I have been developing a blog space that shows off my extensive library of imagery. The best thing about it, is that you can cross-reference items with tags (or keywords),...
***UPDATE***
(see actual movie plus soundtrack HERE - video is buffered into a flash movie)
Chu's work is one of the main features of this years Walsall Illuminations, billed as the UK's largest inshore light show. At the heart of the site is a lake which has a huge, sprayed water screen (20m high, 40m wide) that has the short film projected onto it with high powered digital projectors.
The production (assisted by Beat13) recounts the tale of a group of sprites battling with darkness. The fairy-like sprites, being of the element water, carry the colours in various forms. In folklore, their job (apart from bothering butterflies) is to paint the leaves on the trees in autumn. The story evolves on the huge water screen, accompanied by a soundtrack produced exclusively for the show, which runs on a loop every 5 minutes.
The show runs until the October 29th.
