'Born in Walsall' was launched on Thursday August 19th 2004.

The first in a series of special events brought to you by a selection of our most talented artists and musicians live from Walsall's Town Hall. Introducing the evenings entertainment will be Walsall's unofficial town crier.

Part of the Walsall Jazz Orchestra, they are an incredible band that play soul classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s. They also play regularly at the Jam House in Birmingham

Local graffiti artist CHU will be producing work to be projected onto the stage, in collaboration with the Local History Centre. Visit his site by CLICKING HERE.

Walsall's world class brewery will be brewing a beer called 'Born in Walsall'. This will be launched at the event.
