Putting the Wall in Walsall…

| posted on Jul 21 2009

This painting was meant to be somewhere else in Walsall, the whole thing was planned like clockwork. Most of it resting on the weather, but I had it from a good source that it was going to be dry on Saturday/wet on Sunday. Saturday morning I was going to see the new Walsall College opening, the painting was going to get done straight after. We headed to our wall and a spotless 2003 Audi was parked right in front of it, so we had to look elsewhere because none of us wanted that kind of conversation…

I made a few calls and came up with a beauty. Walsall town centre, minutes walk from station etc.. We piled in like The Foreign Legion after some water, improvising as we went.

Thanks to Fletch, Tony, Matt, Nev & Deano.
